Father Patrick John Fox divorced Carol Ann Fox, leaving both girls to his ex-wife (Samantha's younger sister is named Vanessa). In her second marriage, another little Fox was born - Frederica, but the eldest got the talent.

Samantha's bisexuality has made her love life complicated and confusing. At the age of 20, she believed that she would live her whole life with Australian Peter Forster. The couple planned to get married twice, in 1987 and 1994, but the relationship broke up. The reason for the breakup was tragedy. Peter and Samantha lost their adopted son Simon to alcohol poisoning after mixing up bottles.
Then the press began to discuss her affair with Kiss vocalist Paul Stanley. According to the singer, they met during her tour of America, in New York. Stanley's team was also on tour at that time. When she went on her first date with Paul, she had no idea that it would end in a dizzying romance.
Since both often toured, they were rarely able to see each other, and because of this, the couple’s relationship ended. At first, meetings began to take place less frequently, and then stopped altogether.
