Sergei Belogolovtsev in his youth
After school, having failed exams at the university where his father taught, Sergei went to enter the Moscow Mining Institute. After finishing his studies for the required period, the guy was assigned to the Far East. It was there that the craving for creativity emerged. Sergei created a propaganda team, with which he performed on the stage of rural clubs.

When he managed to return to Moscow, Belogolovtsev fulfilled his long-standing desire and organized his own KVN team “Magma”. This team literally burst into the Major League, and Sergei quickly became a star. KVN was a significant milestone in Belogolovtsev’s creative biography, opening the way for the young man to the stage and television.

Biography of Sergei Belogolovtsev: childhood and student life

He was born in Vladivostok in 1964 (April 2). Then the Belogolovtsev family moved to the city of Obninsk, located in the Kaluga region. Sergei's father, Gennady Ivanovich, has nothing to do with art. He, a physicist, worked as a teacher at the Engineering Physics Institute (Obninsk). His mother, Ksenia Alekseevna, has a secondary specialized education. But she was a housewife for many years.

The Belogolovtsev family often moved from one service apartment to another. Because of this, Seryozha had to change schools. But each time he quickly managed to join the new team. During his school years, he attended the basketball section, and was also an ardent fan of Moscow Spartak. After receiving a “certificate of maturity,” our hero decided to enter the Obninsk branch of MEPhI. His father worked at the same university. However, Belogolovtsev Sr. refused his son protection. Then Seryozha chose another educational institution - the Mining Institute in Moscow. And he managed to get there on his first try.

A television

After success in KVN, Sergei Belogolovtsev was invited to the intellectual and ironic game for teenagers “The Magnificent Seven” and was entrusted with the role of screenwriter and presenter. Then the premieres of the programs “Once a Week”, “Scheme of Laughter”, “Save, Repair”, “Prospect of Knowledge”, “Despite the Records!?” and about a dozen more programs.

Standing apart in the showman’s career were the comedy show “O.S.P. Studio” and the television series “33 Square Meters” produced by the team, where he played the head of the shocking Zvezdunov family. In these projects, Belogolovtsev, together with Mikhail Shats, Tatyana Lazareva, Andrei Bocharov and Pavel Kabanov, performed performances in which they parodied show business stars, politicians and ordinary residents of Russia.

In 2020, Sergei was invited to two new television projects - the “Guess the Movie” show, which started on the “Che” TV channel, and the “Saltykov-Shchedrin Show” program, which was broadcast on NTV. Belogolovtsev’s co-hosts in the second program were Ekaterina Skulkina, Dmitry Kolchin, Alexey Kortnev and Nikolai Fomenko.

In the early 2000s, Belogolovtsev appeared in episodes of several top-rated comedy series - “Daddy's Daughters”, “My Fair Nanny” and “Two Antons”.

In 2006, the artist starred in the film “The Color of the Sky,” where he played the uncharacteristic hero-lover Mikhail, the lover of flight attendant Ekaterina (Natalia Kurdyubova).

In 2009, Belogolovtsev’s filmography was supplemented by work in Boris Grachevsky’s social drama “The Roof” about the relationship between children and constantly busy parents. After 2 years, the artist appeared in the film based on the novel by Sergei Minaev “Spiritless”, where the main characters were played by Danila Kozlovsky, Maria Andreeva, Artem Mikhalkov. Sergei Belogolovtsev played the role of Volodya Gulyakin, director of the St. Petersburg branch of the company.

Belogolovtsev has long established himself as a theater performer. He participated in the enterprise performances “On High Heels”, “You Are My Sunshine”, where he played together with Nonna Grishaeva, Euclides Kyurdzidis, Oleg Marusev, Anna Terekhova.

In an acting ensemble with Olga Budina and Viktor Loginov, Belogolovtsev appeared on the theater stage in the play “Recipe for Family Happiness.” Sergey is a guest artist at the Teresa Durova Clown Theater. Here the screen star was involved in the production of “It Will Live Before the Wedding!”

Personal life

The artist’s personal life has long been established. Sergei got married while still a student. His wife Natalya was then a counselor at the Military Patriotic Club, although she is a journalist by profession. Later, Natalya became the general director of O.S.P. LLC.

Sergei’s children are related to the profession of TV presenter. The artist’s first-born Nikita is a political commentator for the Dozhd TV channel. The second son, Alexander, graduated from the Faculty of International Journalism at MGIMO and, since adolescence, has hosted various programs, the most famous of which is “NEOKuhnya” on the Karusel channel.

The youngest son, Evgeniy, was born seriously ill - he has cerebral palsy. Zhenya's health condition forced Sergei and his wife to settle in Moscow, where it was possible to provide the boy with full treatment.

Sergei Belogolovtsev and his son with cerebral palsy Zhenya
Despite his illness, Evgeniy is also a TV presenter - the young man appeared in the frame of the “Miscellaneous News” program on the “Raz TV” channel. In 2019, Zhenya began promoting the topic of people with disabilities on the Internet, creating the YouTube channel “Same Same.”

Faced with the problem of a sick child, the Belogolovtsevs decided to help other children. They organized the non-profit organization “Dream Skis”, which teaches skiing to children with cerebral palsy.

Sergei has a page on Instagram, where the TV presenter posts family photos, including pictures with his grandchildren, Eva and Timofey, Nikita’s children. In 2020, Sergei’s eldest son became a father for the third time - his daughter Elizaveta appeared in his family. Alexander does not lag behind his brother - his son Fedor was born.

“Talked to the sky. Recently stopped"

— Together with your wife, you organized the “Dream Skis” charity project for children with special needs. This is a separate, difficult profession. How did you decide to do this?

— Natasha Belogolovtseva does 90% of this. She is terribly tired. It's very hard. People are afraid of people with disabilities. At some ski resorts they refuse us: “For us this will be anti-advertising - people who come to us will see ugly children.” Well, we'll lie to each other. They really are ugly for the most part. You just need to look at them from a different perspective. And you will see that they are wonderful, cheerful, very gentle. At one time, no one helped us with Zhenya (the youngest son, Sergei Belogolovtsev, has cerebral palsy - Ed.). If we give at least one little person an impetus... And parents - they suffer even more than children. They understand that things will get even worse for the child if nothing changes in the country. And it will change. For some reason they keep shouting about ramps endlessly, as if this is the only thing that will solve the problem. What is needed here is not ramps, but a restructuring of the consciousness of the nation. And that’s why Natasha is doing this. I don't know how much longer it will last. We could be proud of ourselves. But I don’t even have the strength for this.

— Attitudes towards children with special needs in Russia are, of course, changing. Nevertheless, it happens when the mother of a healthy child says: “I don’t want to see your disabled person on the playground.” What to do about it?

“It’s probably already impossible to do anything with such people.” You need to believe that others will grow. And so they need to be raised differently. For example, we participated in a Channel One competition: we applied for a program with the working title “Other People,” which was to be hosted by our twin sons. We have Zhenya, and he has a brother Sashka - exactly the same, but only “upright”. Everything needs to be done humanely. Not as often happens: “We reported fifty ramps built in our city. They also put up billboards saying that all children are equal.” They are not supposed to be nice, these programs. They must be made by people who know what they are talking about.

“Every parent of a child with special needs experiences such a period of quiet despair. Resentment towards doctors...

- On the creator.

- How did you pull yourself out of this?

- Well, I talked to the sky. I recently stopped doing this. I spoke with deeply religious people. I asked them the question: “Why is this so? Why is he punishing the children? After all, they didn’t have time to sin. I didn't hear a clear answer. These conversations that the Lord gives everyone a burden within their strength... And that by raising such a child, we bring goodness into the world... Is it possible that I won’t carry the burden? And maybe I won’t bring goodness into the world? Can I just have a healthy baby? But one day the consciousness breaks down and it turns out that you can live, it turns out, with all this. I'm very lucky with my wife. With the fact that she raised my children. I think what helps is the love the parents have for each other and their decision that they will fight. Strength and love.

“When children who are different from their peers grow up, they inevitably have the question: “Why am I like this?” How did you get through this period with Zhenya?

“Thank God, we didn’t have such a problem.” Zhenya may be the happiest of us all. Because he gets the main attention. Everyone loves him very much. Both our friends and parents. He is surrounded by a cocoon of shared love. It seems to me that he has settled down very well, the cunning one.

— Does Zhenya continue to work on television?

- Unfortunately no. We were incredibly lucky: our friend was the head of the Raz-TV cable channel. And he took Zhenya. Well, first of all, because we are his friends. Secondly, because he liked what Zhenya was doing. But the channel was reformatted after another brilliant decision by our legislators, and the program was closed. We want to try to bring Zhenya back into this story - simply because he really likes her. Secondly, he succeeds! We asked a couple of our friends: “Guys, let’s be objective. Is there something in this? And people I respect from our profession, from the theater world, said: “This is interesting, he has a peculiar facial expression, plasticity, voice. He's different." If a talking raccoon anchored the news, it would be even more interesting, of course. But there is no such raccoon. We really want Zhenya to continue doing this. I think this might be interesting. The main thing is to figure out how and what.

Sergey Belogolovtsev now

Currently, Maxim Vitorgan’s play “In the City of False Dmitrov” is being staged at theater venues in Moscow and the Moscow region, where, in addition to Sergei Belogolovtsev, Alexey Kortnev is performing. This is a phantasmagoria about the life of a closed scientific town.

Sergey Belogolovtsev in 2020
There are also new items in the artist’s film career. This is the comedy “Not Them” and the 2020 adventure film “Girls Are Different”, where Dmitry Nagiyev, Vladimir Yaglych, Roman Popov, Zoya Berber appeared on the screen together with Belogolovtsev.

Career of Sergei Belogolovtsev in KVN

After graduating from the institute, Belogolovtsev was assigned to the distant and inhospitable Khabarovsk Territory. However, Sergei did not even intend to lose heart in the local wilderness. Literally a few months after his appearance in these parts, Belogolovtsev assembled his own propaganda team and even made several attempts to organize his own rock band. But the last of these ideas remained unrealized. The reason for this was his untimely departure to Moscow, which was caused by family circumstances.

In the capital of Russia, Sergei Belogolovtsev again took up the implementation of a variety of creative plans. This time, the actor’s main dream was to have his own KVN team. At first, this project stalled due to lack of funding. However, very soon Sergei’s ideas began to take on real shape. Thus, the KVN team “Magma” was formed.

From the first days of its existence, the newly formed team became the main discovery of the Major League season. The team performed brilliantly, and therefore Sergei Belogolovtsev very soon became a real star. The audience loved him, his jokes were always received with a bang. However, there was still one disappointment in the KVN fate of our today’s hero - Sergei never became the champion of the Major League.
