Alexey Aleksandrovich Osipov was born in St. Petersburg (then Leningrad) in February 1975 into a family of scientists. The boy's parents were engaged in exact sciences. In addition to Osipov, the well-known Viktor Verzhbitsky, Alexey Dedov, Olga Sutulova and others took part in the film. Singer Yulia Chicherina and Playboy magazine models Karen McDougal and Lisa Dergan were also invited to the shooting.
GATI and continuation of acting career
After filming the film “Gladiatrix,” significant changes occurred in the life of artist Alexei Osipov. In 2002, our hero entered the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theater Arts (GATI). The leader of his course was the famous theater director Lev Abramovich Dodin. Alexey Osipov combined his studies at the academy with filming. The actor was in a hurry, as if he sensed the approaching tragedy. During his student years, Alexey starred in two films - “Russian Special Forces” and “Gangster Petersburg”.
In 2003, viewers saw three more “top” films with the participation of our today’s hero. In the serial film “Secrets of the Investigation,” Osipov got the role of a security guard. In the film “Don't Quarrel, Girls,” Alexey played a character named Roman. But the film “Poor Nastya” was a real success for the blond artist. In the multi-part film “Poor Nastya” our hero played the groom Nikita Khvorostov. Osipov professionally created the image of a rude village resident in love with the main character of the film. The film “My Favorite Monster” was the last in Alexei Osipov’s professional career. In it, the artist played a man living in the forest. In addition to Alexey, the following “stars” of Russian cinema starred in the film: Anna Miklosh, Viktor Vasiliev, Andrey Karako and others.

Alexey made a convincing debut in the role of the invincible barbarian Flavius. On the set, Alexey realized that this was the activity he would like to do all his life.

In 2002, Alexey Osipov entered a theater university. The young man chose GATI, where for several years he learned the secrets of acting in Lev Dodin’s course. The young man combined his studies with filming new television projects. Alexey was in a hurry, as if he was afraid of not being on time. During his student years, the aspiring artist starred in the TV series “Russian Special Forces” and “Gangster Petersburg”.
In 2003, 3 more high-rated series with Osipov’s participation were released. In the crime film “Secrets of the Investigation” with Anna Kovalchuk in the title role, the artist played the role of a security guard from. In the melodrama “Don't quarrel, girls!” the actor played a character named Roma. Another leading role soon followed - in the action adventure film “The Amber Baron” Alexey played Andrei Bushmin, a former guard of the governor, who, together with his companion Lena (Yulia Rudina), finds a map of the amber room hidden by the Nazis. In the lyrical comedy “Kings Can Do Anything,” where the main roles went to Gosha Kutsenko and Elena Polyakova, Alexey Osipov appeared in the image of a formidable security chief.
But it cannot be said that the actor played the roles of the same role. Viewers saw Osipov completely differently in the film “Two from the Casket,” where Alexey played an employee of a private detective agency, Ivan Volkov, who works in tandem with journalist Alexander (Andrey Zibrov). Young people have to think outside the box and unravel criminal puzzles. In the next project, “Never Say Never,” the actor starred in the role of Oleg, the husband of Nadezhda Grozovskaya (Tatyana Abramova). The cause of death of the Russian actor still remains unclear. The version that Alexey Osipov voluntarily passed away is categorically rejected by his family and friends, but there are facts that indicate the opposite.
On the day the tragedy happened, Osipov went with his friend for a walk in the Gulf of Finland. It was too cold, and the girl went to warm up in the car in which the young people arrived at the Kronstadt Dam. The actor was left alone on the ice. After some time, the girl received a text message from Alexey telling her not to wait for him and to go home. The artist did not show up on either the first or second day. The search began. However, they came to nothing. Ten days after Alexey Osipov disappeared, the search was stopped.
The actor’s body was found in July 2013, near a dam near the city of Lomonosov (Leningrad Region) - almost six months after the mysterious disappearance.
The day of death of the Russian artist is considered to be February 13, 2013.
There are many versions about the death of Alexei. Someone claims that the actor simply fell through the ice and was unable to get out. Others say that Osipov has recently been in a very depressed state and could well have committed suicide. However, how everything really happened can only be guessed at.
Farewell to the actor took place on July 31, 2013. Relatives of Alexei Osipov forbade journalists to film the farewell ceremony. After the funeral service, the actor’s body was taken away for cremation.

Alexey, known to viewers from the films “Gangster Petersburg”, “Poor Nastya”, “Foundry”, “Always Say Always” and “Sea Devils”, was known among his friends as an eccentric. Therefore, many fellow actors do not believe in the assumption that something happened to him. They say that he could suddenly go somewhere to visit friends, in the wilderness. However, the story of his disappearance is more than strange.
Olga and Alexey got into the car that day and decided to go out of town. Having passed the tunnel leading from Kronstadt to Lomonosov, they stopped on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. Osipov suggested wandering along the shore, but his companion soon froze and returned to the car, deciding to wait for the actor there. When he didn’t come, Olga began calling Osipov’s mobile phone, but it turned out that the phone was disconnected.
The actor was also not at home, after which Olga sounded the alarm. In addition, before her disappearance, she received an incomprehensible SMS: “Don’t wait for me, if you want, then sell everything here and go to Finland.” (Alexey was thinking about going abroad). It is unclear whether the actor himself sent this message.

Osipov loved to walk along the shore of the Gulf of Finland and knew this area like the back of his hand. At first, the police put forward the theory that Alexey could have drowned. After all, in the area where Osipov was walking, an ice floe broke off, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued the fisherman. However, the fisherman reported that he did not see anyone near him.
Now law enforcement officials are at a loss.
However, actor Yevgeny Dyatlov, who starred with the missing man in the TV series “The Golden Trap,” believes that there is no need to be discouraged. It is quite possible that Osipov will return alive and well.

Lesha is a very cheerful person and, in the good sense of the word, adventurous. He himself talked about how he traveled around Italy and Spain on a bicycle, and about his other adventures.
“But his friend, who reported him missing to the police, says: Lesha was depressed and even wanted to commit suicide. Could this happen?
- It seems to me that this is nonsense. I never noticed Lesha having suicidal tendencies. On the contrary, during the expedition he tried to make good use of every minute, and did not engage in some empty chatter and “philosophical” torment about the meaning of life, with which people suffer from idleness. I know that he was actively involved in bodybuilding. I remember that I was even delighted with the physical shape in which Lesha was when I saw him on the set. I don’t understand at all why he was almost buried: after all, not much time had passed, just a few days.
